A15 live traffic updates after three-vehicle collision near Lincoln
Motorists are being told to avoid the area following a three-vehicle collision on the A15. The incident occurred at around 1pm on Monday, October 6, on the A15 in the Riseholme area near Lincoln. There is very slow traffic in the area as a result. A broken-down lorry at the Riseholme roundabout near the bypass is also causing delays, and the road will be closed shortly so it can be recovered. An update from Lincolnshire Police states: “We’re advising road users to avoid the areas around the A15 from Riseholme and the A46 Lincoln Bypass between Carholme Road and Nettleham Road following a three-vehicle collision on the A15 and a broken-down HGV at the Riseholme roundabout area of the Bypass. “Please travel a different route if possible to avoid lengthy delays. The bypass will shortly be closed to allow recovery of the HGV.” Follow our live blog below for updates:
