
Boy suffers ‘potentially life-changing’ injuries after being hit by Audi A4 in Lincolnshire village
A boy was taken to hospital after being hit by a Audi A4 as he walked in a village. Lincolnshire Police officers were called to Station Road in Castle Bytham at 3.19pm on Wednesday, October 1, following reports of a crash. Once emergency services arrived at the scene they found a pedestrian had been hit by an Audi A4. The pedestrian, a boy, was taken to hospital with injuries thought to be potentially life-changing. In an initial update, police described the road as a known cut-through to areas such as Witham-on-the-Hill and South Witham. The road was closed for a number of hours while emergency services attended the incident. A spokesperson from Lincolnshire Police said: “We received a call at 3.19pm on October 1 reporting a collision on Station Road, Castle Bytham. It involved a car, a blue Audi A4, and a pedestrian. “The pedestrian, a boy, was taken to hospital with injuries thought to be potentially life-changing.”
